Applying for Workshop

Apply online or print out the Application Form and post to the Workshop office:

Applying prior to a Workshop weekend is most helpful to us, but should this not be possible you are very welcome to enrol on the day.

FEES AND PAYMENT

£50 per weekend
£30 per weekend: (for ‘Workshop Regional’ for full-time students and unwaged)

Cheques accompanying or following-up your Application Form should be made payable to ‘Workshop’
If you are paying by instalments we would prefer that you pay by Banker’s Standing Order if that is possible. However, a cheque payment by post or at the weekend is quite acceptable
If you elect to pay by instalments please contact the office (01142888816 or admin@anvil.org.uk) and request a standing order mandate. This will be posted to you on receipt of you application form
If any other method or pattern of payment from those mentioned above would particularly assist you in financing the course we would be happy to discuss this with you on an individual basis
The cost of the weekends includes all teaching, course materials and hot drinks

If you need help with the payment, we recommend the following:

Ask if your local church will help you. On many occasions people have asked their local church or a smaller group within their church to sponsor them for all or part of the fee
Ask if your workplace will consider sponsoring you. Some people working in companies and local government have been assisted with fees in recognition of the benefits that Workshop provides
Ask us. If you are unable to fully or partly fund the course from all these above sources or from your own resources then please do ring us to discuss your situation. Past participants often make money available to help sponsor other people who lack the finance to do the course. You may be eligible to apply for sponsorship. We will do everything possible to help you attend and do not want genuine financial need to prevent you from doing the course. If money is a real obstacle please don't hesitate to phone 0114 288 8816 to talk confidentially about this. Please don't be embarrassed; we really want to help you

If you have any special requirements such as access for a wheelchair please contact us before enrolling. Most centers are well equipped but we would like to check your specific needs
There are no crèche facilities but babes-in-arms are very welcome on the weekend

Workshop is non-residential and those participants travelling long distances to the nearest centre need to plan ahead for accommodation
If you can, please arrange to stay with friends
Otherwise, if you inform us well in advance we may be able to arrange accommodation with local Christians
Any payment for such accommodation is to be agreed between yourselves; often there is no charge
